Catherine Siu’s passion in the arts, culture and languages has led her to live and study in Hong Kong, England and France. She’s fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and can understand French and Zhaozhou. Her strong multi-lingual background with sensitivities to different cultures has made her particularly effective in building bridges between people from different backgrounds and philosophies. While she loves traveling, her real passion is cooking and she enjoys cooking for her family, friends and colleagues. Knowing how sharing a meal brings people closer together, she believes food is not only a shortcut to cultural exploration but also leads to lasting friendships.

Catherine joined B+H in 2013 as Managing Director for the newly set-up Hong Kong studio. She was instrumental in opening the Hong Kong and Macau markets for the company. Since 2016, she focused her efforts on regional business development for the company and is now serving as Principal for Asia.

Catherine’s extensive project experience spans across office, retail, hospitality, residential and institutional sectors, ranging from master planning, to architecture, to interiors. Over the years, she has worked closely with high-profile international clients and regional developers including Walt Disney Imagineering, Tishman Speyer, China Merchants, Evergrande, GDH, Huawei, Sinoland, SJM, Suning, Wanda, Times, etc. With her experience as a design and project director for international design firms, she has been instrumental in winning many design competitions with her combination of creativity and extensive professional knowledge. This has set Catherine up for success in her key role driving the growth and development of our firm in the region.
