Elmutaz joined B+H Architects in 2008 bringing more than 16 years of extensive professional global experience with primary focus on large-scale institutional and healthcare projects. A LEED and EDAC-accredited professional, Elmutaz has led many global and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver large-scale projects from inception, through all design phases to contract administration and client handover in Canada, Middle East & Asia.
Elmutaz is a firm believer in design excellence and is a strong advocate of leveraging evidence-based design in his healthcare projects. He has a firm understanding of healthcare’s operational complexity and he uses this knowledge to collaborate effectively with his stakeholders. Some of his recent projects include the Niagara Health System, in Canada and the 540-bed Singapore General Hospital Community Hospital, located in Singapore.
